TW Hotels Group is a family run business with multiple accommodation properties with The Royal Britannia Hotel being the first! Since the purchase of the building in 2009 The Royal Britannia hotel has undergone plenty of restoration. trading did not take place for the first 2 years due to the amount of work that needed doing to the Edwardian grade II listed building. Restoring this historic building was no easy task and it's with our pleasure that we have managed to keep in tact a big part of Ilfracombe history. 

The Royal status of the building came when King Edward IIV stayed here for 1 night as a boy of 15. Along with the Kind Edward we have had the likes of Lord Admiral Nelson and Lady Hamilton stay here. Est 1617 the building has always been used as an Inn by a range of people, from royalty to fishermen. 

After the Britannia We Purchased the previously known 'Capstone hotel' now named The Grand harbour and completely renovated the previous hotel of 10 or so rooms into 22 modernized rooms with lift access to the rooms. Below we have our Capstone restaurant serving Sunday Carvery every Sunday from 12.30pm. 

Shortly after our neighbors at the Harbour lights B&B listed their charming business for sell so they could retire, which we then purchased and began another huge renovation project. 

Our goal is to provide quality accommodation in the heart of this Picturesque coastal town to guest heading to the South West of England.
